About us

Mountsorrel Christadelphians consist of a small number of Bible believers from the local area. On the first Sunday in each month at 5:30 pm we hold talks on Bible topics. The talks are designed to show why the Scriptures which make up the Bible are what they claim to be - the word of God. And how, when properly understood and acted upon, they can save us from death. God's promise in the Bible is that of forgiveness of sin and resurrection from the dead to eternal life in the kingdom of God - made possible by the perfect life and sacrifice of the Son of God, Jesus Christ. The Gospel of the kingdom of God was preached by Jesus Christ and his apostles, and the kingdom will be established upon the earth when Christ returns. God's offer stands - but requires a response to the Gospel from us.

Here's some answers to questions you might have:

Q: How long do the talks last?

A: Around 30 minutes. We're usually done by 6:30pm.

Q: Who are the speakers? Are they qualified to speak about the Bible?

A: Our speakers are Christadelphians from the UK. They are all non-paid Bible teachers who have studied the Bible for a number of years. Those who take on subjects of a scientific nature are generally qualified in those disciplines.

Q: Will I be asked to contribute to collections?

A: No. We don't want your money. All talks are free of charge.
