The right hand side of the King is the position of the Prince of a Kingdom. It is a position of power and authority second only to that of the king. Jesus has received from His Father all power in Heaven and in earth - Matthew 28:18. After he has returned and, during his Millennial reign, he has restored the earth to the place of glory designed for it from the beginning, he will relinquish that power so that his Father will be "all in all". 1 Corinthians 15:28
Here are a few of the more than 160 references to the "right hand" in the King James Version. For example:

Ps 60:5 That thy beloved may be delivered; save with thy right hand, and hear me.
Ps 98:1 O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
Ps 110:1 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
Ps 138:7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
Heb 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
1Pe 3:22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
