Here are definitions of adultery and fornication taken from Vine's Complete Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words:

The word for adultery in the New Testament is moichos (G3432) which is defined specifically as one "who has unlawful intercourse with the spouse of another," Luke 18:11; 1Corinthians 6:9; Hebrews 13:4

The word for fornication in the New Testament is porneia (G4202) is used (a) of "illicit sexual intercourse," in John 8:41; Acts 15:20, 29; 21:25; 1Corinthians 5:1; 6:13,18; 2Corinthians 12:21; Galatians 5:19; Ephesians 5:3; Colossians 3:5; 1Thessalonians 4:3; Revelation 2:21; 9:21; in the plural in 1Corinthians 7:2; in Matthew 5:32 and Matthew 19:9 it stands for, or includes, adultery; it is distinguished from it in Mattew 15:19 and Mark 7:21; (b) metaphorically, of "the association of pagan idolatry with doctrines of, and professed adherence to, the Christian faith," Revelation 14:8; 17:2,4; 18:3; 19:2; some suggest this as the sense in Revelation 2:21.
