The Trinity is a false doctrine adopted by the Church as it slid into apostasy in the 4th century AD.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

God is ‘he’ not ‘they’

Matthew 19:4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,

God is ONE not three.

Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

Mark 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

1 Timothy 2:5  For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

This is no god beside him.

Isaiah 45:5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me:

Everything was created in accordance with the words which he spoke.

Psalms 33:6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

The word is not another name for Jesus Christ.

The Geneva Bible translates John 1:1-4 correctly:

1 In the beginning was that Word, and that Word was with God, and that Word was God. 2 This same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by it, and without it was made nothing that was made. 4 In it was life, and that life was the light of men.

The word of God is the word which God spoke, and which was written down by the inspiration of God.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God…

That word which was written down revealed God’s plan of salvation.

In the written word was life because it was written to enlighten men and women on how to attain unto eternal life.

Jesus Christ existed before his birth only in the plan and purpose of God.

He was ‘foreknown’ in exactly the same way as all who will be in God’s kingdom are foreknown.

1 Peter 1:20 ASV who was foreknown (proginosko) indeed before the foundation of the world, but was manifested at the end of times for your sake,

Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow (proginosko), he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Jesus Christ is the son of God, born of a woman and therefore born a man, not God. HeGod cannot be tempted to sin, but Jesus was tempted to sin exactly as other men are, yet he did no sin. God cannot die, Jesus died.

Hebrews 2:17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. 18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

To drive the point home Jesus refers to himself as the ‘son of man’ some 85 times.

Jesus is the word of God made flesh in that:

1. He fulfilled the promises made of him in the word of God.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Luke 24:25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: 26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? 27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

2. He lived his life 100% by the word of God.

Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

This was a lesson that Israel failed to learn.

Deuteronomy 8:3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.
