Can you explain the "March Of The Rainbowed Angel"?

The March of the Rainbowed Angel is not a phrase found in scripture.

Revelation 10:1 I saw still another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was on his head, his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.

The idea that the Rainbowed Angel represents Jesus Christ and his glorified saints is found in John Thomas' exposition of Revelation in his multi volume work called, Eureka volume 2 ch.10 p.537 + 544 (in my volume) where he is dealing with Revelation 10.

In deciding the initial location of the angel, he goes to:

Deuteronomy 33:2 And he said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them.

From this he deduces that the resurrected saints are taken to Sinai to be judged and those found faithful are glorified with the divine nature and incorporated as the ‘Rainbowed Angel’.

From there they go forth to encounter the Gogian forces, first in Egypt and then in Israel.

A list has been compiled of the expected sequence of events and styled ‘the march of the Rainbowed angel’

  1. Russia having formed an alliance with the Catholic Church and the nations of Europe will advance on Turkey.
  2. Once established in Constantinople (Nebuchadnezzar's Image now nearing completion with but Israel and Egypt to be incorporated) the Russian forces will rapidly advance down the coastal plain of Israel, by-passing Jerusalem, and invade Egypt.
  3. Elijah is sent forth to gather scattered Israel, while Christ and the saints move from Sinai, northwards, and subdue the Arab powers of the region.
  4. The Tarshish powers enter the conflict and consolidate their power in and around Jerusalem.
  5. After subduing and occupying Egypt the Russian forces receive tidings out of the east and the north which trouble them.
  6. Leaving an occupation force, the Gogian confederacy advance upon Jerusalem and engage the forces of the west around Jerusalem.
  7. Christ and the saints enter Egypt, subdue Gog's 0occupying army and relieve Egyptian distress. They commence the work of converting Egypt.
  8. Gog is victorious over all opposition in the land of Israel and sets his seat of power in Jerusalem.
  9. Christ and the saints having left Egypt travel east to Mt. Paran, Mt. Seir and the Dead Sea conquering any resistance encountered, and enter the land due east of Jerusalem, arriving at the Mount of Olives as Gog is going about the task of taking the remnant of the Jewish nation into captivity.
  10. Christ and the saints use divine power to overthrow Gog's forces and an earthquake makes dramatic changes to the topography of the land.

Now a fair amount of guesswork has gone into this so it must be taken with a pinch of salt.

We don’t actually need an advance notice of what will be required of us if we are among the redeemed.

There is nothing in the Birmingham Ammended Statement of Faith which requires us to accept this order of events and time may prove them to be wrong.

Prophecies were not given to make us prophets, but to help us to discern the signs of our times – so that we might watch.

The signs we are looking for at the moment are:

  • Peace or a long-term cease-fire between Israel and her neighbours so that her prosperity raises the covetousness of Gog.

Ezekiel 38:10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought: 11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, 12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.

  • The EU to form a united states of Europe under the leadership of one who in a former incarnation constituted the Beast which was ridden by the Harlot.

Revelation 17:8 "The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition. And those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. 9 "Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. 10 "There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue a short time. 11 "And the beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition. 12 "The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 "These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. 14 "These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful."

  • Until the beast in 2 is reconstitued it cannot breathe out an unclean frog-like spirit necessary to gather the nations to Armageddon.

Revelation 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

  • It is after the unclean spirits have gone forth and the nations are being gathered to Armageddon that Christ returns as a thief to gather his elect.

Revelation 16:14 For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. 15 "Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame." 16 And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.

What happens after we are gathered, we don't need to be dogmatic about now.

I hope you find this helpful.

God bless,
