The Bible gives us no reason to believe that there was a pre-adamic race on earth before the Creation account.
A pre-adamic race is very unlikely because we are told:
1) God created the earth to be inhabited.
Isaiah 45:18 For thus says the LORD, Who created the heavens, Who is God, Who formed the earth and made it, Who has established it, Who did not create it in vain, Who formed it to be inhabited: "I am the LORD, and there is no other.
2) His purpose is to fill the earth with his Glory.
Numbers 14:21 but truly, as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD—
A pre-adamic creation would indicate that God initially failed in his purpose, which is clearly not possible because he is omnipotent and knows the end from the beginning.
Acts 15:18 Known to God from eternity are all His works.
3) The earth was made to be an eternal inheritance for his only begotten Son.
Hebrews 1:2 (Diaglot) whom he appointed an heir of all things, (on account of whom also the ages he made,)
Psalms 2:7,8 I will declare the decree: The LORD has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. 8 Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession.
Psalms 8:6 You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet,
Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
I hope this helps,
