I'm sorry but our course covers the whole Bible not just the New Testament.  You cannot understand the New Testament if you do not have a basic understanding of the Old Testament.  For example you cannot understand the very first verse of the New Testament without referring back to the Old Testament.  Why are Abraham and David mentioned in the first verse of Matthew?  Because understanding the promises made to Abraham and to David are very important to understanding God's plan of salvation in Christ.
