John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
The Bible makes clear that the only way that we can obtain salvation is by Jesus Christ.
John 4:22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
The Bible explains that all human beings die in the same way as Adam.

We die because we sin against our creator by breaking his commandments.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
The only place that we can find the commandments of God is in the Bible.
Leviticus 18:5 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD.
Ezekiel 20:11 And I gave them my statutes, and shewed them my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them.
The Bible tells us that the punishment for each and every sin is death.
Ezekiel 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death;
We do not have an immortal soul or spirit that continues in conscious existence after death. When we die we really are dead.
Ecclesiastes 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing,
Psalms 146:4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
Death is eternal unless God raises us from the dead. Resurrection from the dead is the hope held out in the gospel.
Acts 17:18... he preached unto them Jesus, and the resurrection.
Acts 24:15 And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead...
To be raised from the dead to eternal life we need all our sins forgiven. This is the new covenant that God is prepared to make with us if we believe and obey the gospel preached by Jesus Christ.
Hebrews 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
The forgiveness of sins is only available to those who believe that Jesus Christ sacrificed his life in order that our sins may be forgiven.
Acts 13:38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
Colossians 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
No other religion provides a saviour through whom all our sins can be forgiven.

God requires a response from those who believe.

The new life is that of living by the commandments of Christ.
John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
We cannot live a sinless life; we will still sin after baptism but ongoing forgiveness is available by repentance and confession in prayer.
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
In conclusion - salvation comes from only Christianity because only through the sacrifice of Christ can we have our sins forgiven.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
