Where does it say in the Bible that tattoos will be removed?

There is no passage of scripture which states that tattoos will be removed. However, under the Old Covenant given through Moses the Israelites were forbidden to make marks on themselves.

Leviticus 19:28 You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the LORD.

Those who believe and obey the Gospel preached by Jesus Christ and his apostles come under the New Covenant in which no rules are given concerning tattoos. In my opinion, tattoos are a form of graffiti which deface the skin, but that’s just my opinion.

I hope you find this helpful.

God bless,
Glenn
