A visitor writes,

"When the angel blows the trumpets in heaven in Revelation, will all the people on Earth hear the trumpet as well?"

Revelation 8:1 When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. 2  And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets… 6  So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

Revelation 10:7  but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.

Revelation is a book of symbols. The seven trumpets in Revelation symbolically  herald a progression of events in history. We have no evidence that a trumpet was heard on the earth when these historical events happened. It therefore follows that it is unlikely that the sound of the seventh trumpet will be heard on the earth when Christ returns.

But having said that, a sound of a trumpet was heard when God came down on Mount Sinai.

Exodus 19:16 Then it came to pass on the third day, in the morning, that there were thunderings and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain; and the sound of the trumpet was very loud, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled.

Exodus 19:19 And when the blast of the trumpet sounded long and became louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by voice.

Exodus 20:18 Now all the people witnessed the thunderings, the lightning flashes, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood afar off.

And the sounding of a trumpet is prophesied by Jesus and Paul at the resurrection and gathering of those in Christ at his return.

Matthew 24:31  "And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

1 Corinthians 15:52  in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

In conclusion, it is reasonable to suppose that the sound of a trumpet will be heard, but it is unlikely to be the that of the symbolic seventh trumpet described in Revelation.
